To start off the halloween treats I made cat biscuits with black icing. To start off with you need to make some sort of biscuit or cookie dough (any is fine). Then you need to roll it out and use your cutter to create shapes. Leave them in the oven for about 10 minutes (or however long yours take to bake) and then let them cool for another ten minutes. For the icing I used an online recipe and added black dye which tuned it a dark grey. I flood filled my cookies by doing an outline, letting it set and then filling the centre.
The next treat I made was these frankenstein marshmallows. To start with you need to melt white chocolate and add a few drops of green dye. Then drop all the marshmallows into the chocolate and make sure they are completely covered. To make the eyes let white chocolate drops fall onto a tray and then add some black dye to the chocolate for the pupils. To add the eyes and hair to the marshmallows I used milk to stick them on. Once they were set in place I left them in the fridge and then they were done.
For the Oreo bats I melted some dark chocolate and the dropped an Oreo in and made sure it was completely covered. I broke half an Oreo to make the wings and set the chocolate covered Oreo on top of these. I then added some of the eyes I previously made on top and left them to cool in the fridge. These tasted soooo good and were my favourite!
The last treat I made was halloween bark. This was the easiest treat to make and I started off by covering a baking tray with greaseproof paper and then by spreading white chocolate and the left over green chocolate on top. I covered the chocolate in broken Oreos and and m&ms but it’s up to you what you use. Once it’s set break it up into smaller pieces and into a bowl.
If you’re vegetarian then use veggie marshmallows instead and take out the red m&ms in the halloween bark! They are all of the treats that I made I hope you enjoyed this blog and the video!
